Eligibility Criteria
Paper 1:
- B.Ed in Nursery Teacher Training of 2 years BTC in Urdu and
- BTC/ Diploma in Teacher Education / Diploma in Elementary Education from a Recognized Teacher Training Institute / DIET
- Candidates who appear are also eligible to apply.
- Visually impaired candidates are not eligible to write Paper I.
Paper 2:
- B.A. /B.Sc. / B.Lit. degree with required subjects from a Recognized University under 10+2+3 Pattern and
- B.Ed from a Recognized university
- Candidates with B.Lit., (Tamil) degree should possess either a B.Ed., D.T.Ed. or TPT.
Age Limit
- The age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years.
- The age should not exceed 40 years.
- There will be age relaxation for reserved categories as per the Govt. rules.

How to Fill Out a TNTET Application Form for 2024
- Candidates must go to the trb.tn.nic.in official website.
- On the webpage, choose “Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) – 2024”.
- Complete the TNTET application form with all the necessary information.
- When completing the form, a special User ID and Password will be generated.
- Include a scanned copy of the candidate’s most recent passport-size photo and signature.
- The final stage requires candidates to pay the charge online using net banking, a credit card, or a debit card.
- Send in the application before the deadline.
- After properly submitting the application form, the candidate must download and print a copy of the completed TNTET 2024 application form for their records.
