TANCET Notification

The publication date for the TANCET 2024 application form is March 2024. The Anna University administers TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test). A state-level entrance test is administered annually. Candidates who wish to apply for admission to a postgraduate programme in the state of Tamil Nadu must sit the test.

Application fee for different categories are as follows:

Educational Qualification

For MBA

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a school that has earned accreditation.
Marks Required: In order to graduate with a qualified degree, students must have earned at least 50% of the possible points (45% for restricted categories).

To MCA

Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline from an accredited university is the minimum requirement for applicants.
Marks Required: those must have passed the entrance exam with at least 50% (45% for those in the reserved category).
Subject Requirements: Students must have Mathematics in their 10+2 grades in order to get admitted.

For M.E., M.Arch, M.Tech, and M.Plan

• Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline or the equivalent from a recognised institution or university.
• Qualifying Marks: Applicants must have received at least 50% (45% for students who are members of a protected class) on the qualifying test.
