Timetable for the KCET 2024 Exam, Application Deadline, and Fee These are the official Common Entrance Test (CET) dates for 2024. Beginning in May 2024, the tests will be given. Candidates for undergraduate programmes in Karnataka must take the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). These tests’ outcomes decide admission to programmes in architecture, B.Pharma, dentistry, ayush, and other fields in both public and private colleges throughout Karnataka.

KCET Notification
As an offline test, the KCET is given once a year. 320 minutes must be allotted to finish the MCQ-style test. A total of 180 questions are on the test, including 60 questions each in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. On the syllabus for class XII, these questions are based. For the exam, there is no deducted credit.

Qualifications for the KCET Exam
- Candidates must either have already taken their class XII exam from a reputable authority or board or be taking it right now.
- For class XII, students must take Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
- Students must have received at least a 45% in PCM/PCB subjects in order to pass the class XII test. The 5% relaxation applies to students from restricted groups.
KCET Charges
- Karnataka’s general candidates must pay Rs. 500; women, SC, and ST candidates must pay Rs. 250; candidates from outside Karnataka must pay Rs. 750; and foreign applicants must pay Rs. 5000.
This charge may be paid via a QR code, UPI, credit/debit card, online banking, or BHIM.
Application Form Filling for KCET
The official website, kea.kar.nic.in, will host the online KCET application form.
The website requires candidates to register by setting up a new user profile using their email address and mobile number. A current colour passport-sized picture, scanned copies of your signature and left thumb imprint, and a recent photo in that size are all required to be uploaded along with your KCET application.
