IPU CET Notification

IPU CET is a common entrance test that is administered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) to qualified applicants seeking admission to one of the university’s many degrees.

The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University’s (GGSIPU) common entrance examinations (CET) or the merit of the requisite degrees are the main avenues for admission to its study programmes.

IPU CET 2024 Highlights

Exam Dates for GGS IPU CET 2024

• The first week of March 2024 for the start of online application submission; the last week of March 2024 for the successful transaction of fees
• Only on the Internet, first to third week of April 2024, correction to Application Form information.
• Last week of April 2024: Downloading of Admissions Tickets from GGSIPU Website
• Exam dates: April’s last week through May’s first week in 2024. Results will be announced on the GGSIPU website by the first week in June 2024.

Application Fee for IPU CET 2024

• The application cost for each category is Rs. 1200.
• Applicants are required to pay the application fee online.
• A number of online payment options, including credit cards, debit cards, and net banking are available to the candidate.
• There is no refund for application costs.

IPU CET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be aware of all pertinent details regarding the IPU CET 2024 Eligibility Requirements prior to submitting an application. Following are specifics on the requirements for eligibility:

Nationality: The applicants must have Indian citizenship.

Age Criteria: 

• UG Courses: Applicants need to be between the ages of 18 and 21.
• PG Courses: Candidates need to be between the ages of 21 and 35.
• Bachelor of Vocation: Must be under 45 years of age.

For B.Tech (Biotechnology):

• The candidates must clear their 12th standard examination in PCM with biology / bio-technology 
• with at least a 55% score in each subject as well as in English. 

For M.Tech (Tool Engineering):

• The candidates must have a B.tech/B.E. degree in tool engineering/Mechanical/Mechanical and Automation/Production/Production and Industrial engineering or its equivalent with at least 60% marks.

For MBA Programme:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering or any other discipline OR
• The candidates need to have cleared the final exam of ICWAI / ICSI/ ICAI.
• In the qualifying test, applicants must have 55 percent marks guaranteed.

IPU CET 2024 Exam Pattern

• English will be used as the language of the test.
• The 2024 IPU CET will take place online.
• For most tests, the total time allotted will be 2 hours 30 minutes (150 minutes for B.Tech. exams, 3 hours for others).
• Total Marks: There will be 600 total points awarded for the IPU CET Exam paper.
• Question Type: Objective-type inquiries will be made.
• Scoring: For each accurate response, 4 points will be awarded. Each wrong response will cost you one mark.
